At the VMT Food Safety Event in Utrecht, Prof. Saskia van Ruth, EFF-CoP's Coordinator, delivered the keynote “Voedselfraude: hoe houd je het zuiver?” (Food Fraud: How Do You Keep It Honest?), exploring current challenges in food fraud and sharing insights on ethical practices in the sector. She also introduced EFF_CoP, highlighting its role in fostering collaboration and inviting participants to join the community.
In the afternoon, Prof. Saskia van Ruth co-led a Food Fraud Dilemma Workshop with Frank Cederhout (Deloitte) and Hans van der Moolen (Eurofins). Seventy participants worked in nine groups, assuming the roles of offender, discoverer, or victim, gaining hands-on experience of decision-making under pressure and seeing how different perspectives shape outcomes.
