The Project

The European Food Fraud Community of Practice (EFF-CoP) is an innovative initiative aimed at transforming the battle against food fraud and increasing transparency throughout food supply chains. By uniting a wide range of stakeholders - including researchers, regulators, industry leaders, and representatives from the organic sector - EFF-CoP fosters a vibrant, sustainable ecosystem for research and innovation. EFF-CoP is dedicated to addressing the distinct needs of various stakeholder groups to optimize the flow of information and ensure that the content shared remains relevant.

The overarching aim is to build a dynamic community of over 5,000 members, all working together to enhance food authenticity, traceability, and transparency.

With a focus on sociologically robust principles, a long-term exploitation strategy, and a solid business plan, EFF-CoP is designed to continue evolving and thriving well beyond the project’s completion. This initiative marks a pivotal step toward a future where food fraud is minimized, and confidence in our food systems is strengthened.

Central to EFF-CoP is the EFF-Hub, a digital platform that promotes collaboration and knowledge-sharing. This hub will provide members with access to valuable resources, such as Good Practice Recommendations, factsheets, case studies, and educational content. In addition, EFF-CoP will organize a variety of engaging activities like food fraud festivals, gamified training sessions, living labs, webinars, podcasts, and interactive workshops to support learning and cooperation.

Join the EFF-Hub today, become an EFF-CoP ambassador, and unlock exclusive access to valuable resources and become part of a vibrant community focused on food fraud.
